Frances Hodapp attended Texas A&M University, where she obtained her Bachelor of Science in Nursing. She worked for two years as a pediatric intensive care nurse before attending the University of Texas Southwestern (UTSW) School of Health Professions in Dallas, where she obtained her Master of Physician Assistant (PA) Studies. During her time in the PA program, Frances served as the Union Gospel Clinic Manager, where she volunteered at a free clinic in the Dallas community and was inducted into the Alpha Eta Honor Society. Frances has felt called to serve in the healthcare setting since a young age and believes in the importance of shared decision-making between the provider and patient. She desires to care for the whole person by addressing their physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual needs.

Frances stays involved in her community by volunteering with the local food bank and her church. In her free time, Frances enjoys traveling to and hiking in National Parks with her husband, E.J., along with spending time with her family and friends.
